You had everything in yoyr life handed to you and there is no such thing as "trying".
Your idea of "attempts at making it" were just a way for your narcissistic personality to rationalize your blessings and entitlement. You saw yourself as somebody working hard to make his way in the world while the entire time everybody saw you as a stuck up lush kid with a cliché chip on the shoulder.
There is no cure for narcissistic personality disorder and your only option is to hide in a hole while you slowly come to terms with both your existence and your inevitable demise.
