>>2598723Well, technically, since nobody can prove the existence of any god, and nobody can prove that gods, in the sense that humanity has created of them, do not exist, it's really moot.
Atheists just firmly believe that gods of any sort do not exist, while people with a religion, wether monotheistic or polytheistic firmly believe that they do.
Agnostics are typically either indifferent to the subject or open to the idea if both.
But again, it's kind of like how nobody can prove the existence of mythical creatures, such as Krampus or Cthulu, but amusingly enough, by technicality, nobody can really disprove them either. Which is the problem with all mythology.
The problem Atheists have with relegion, is that basically I could say that a god named Niggeritus spoke to me while I was fingering myself in the shower and through his divine will I wrote a book of his teachings and laws by which we are to live in order to appease him called The Holy Sheeeeeit, and we are to spend an enternity after death in a magical place where the rivers flow of grape drink and watermelons cover the land, and by technicality, you could never disprove any of it because there is no way to disprove something that can't be proven.
That is why it's called faith. People just want to believe what they want to make them sleep better at night.
Alright I'm done.
