>>19942690>Sure. Jet even said the challenge was rigged from the start against Trish.Did you just realize that the show was rigged from Day 1? People want the show to be structured and nuanced like Survivor but this will never be, eliminations are entirely at production's discretion, either by fake ones like Brian's, setting them up with an impossible task like Vance or just rigging it like Trish. The mandate of "being interesting" will carry you far into the show but at the very end they want contestants that are both good at challenges and are interesting. This is why it was pointless for Tay to cut her hair, she was already slotted as a finalist and there was basically nothing any of the other 3 could have done by that to overturn it, at that point it was Trish, Shinji and TJ in the hunt to have a position against her and Trish had a season long record at being bad at challenges both physical and roleplaying. She was absolute fucking content the whole season between her forced love triangle bullshit and feud against Tay and Duanye, but in challenges she was weak. TJ and Shinji had a checkered history in challenges, Shinji did well at physical and struggled with vague stuff like roleplaying and TJ the inverse. Its clear that Jet wanted an elimination between TJ and Shinji in the final week but Sam coming back and declaring a 3 way ending fucked the whole schedule leaving the final week barren as fuck, TJ was Jet's favored and Shinji was Sam's.
Compare Fishtank to scripted stuff like Wrestling, not reality TV like Survivor and the whole thing makes far more sense in both seasons. They outright told Vance and Josie that Letty was a finalist and they needed to step it up for the walking immunity challenge because there was no way it was going to be a Vance/Josie finale because they were nontent voids and Sylvia would have sucked for a finale against Letty.
