>>15878092Here's a picture of all the covenants in the Bible. The rainbow covenant was unilateral. That means only God had to fulfill his end of the bargain. Mankind didn't have to do anything. The Mosaic Law was bilateral. Both had to keep their end of the bargain. However, mankind was unable to keep its end because of imperfection. So they were cursed for never fulfilling it. So the point of Christ was to fulfill it for us. Once Jesus did the impossible, keep every law perfectly to the letter and death, than it was fulfilled and now void. Like a mortgage and car contract once they are fully paid then the contracts are fulfilled and then void. You are released of any accountability to a bank and court.
