Once in rugby practice we were drilling mauls and we kept being told to "hold on tight because otherwise people can get trampled". Upon hearing this, when I noticed my teammate wasn't holding me tight enough I let go of him and he fell under the maul, got his hand and face stood on and it broke his hand and scarred his face. He got the blame because the coach saw his grip loosen but didn't realise I also let go. I've felt guilty about it for a long time. We are still kinda friends and when he remembers the story, he blames himself. But he is remembering it wrong, is was 100% my fault
