Why do you think celebrities commit suicide, and lottery winners end up spending all of their winnings? Why do divorces and breakups happen, and why does sex eventually get boring? Friends will all abandon you if you decide to seek spiritual enlightenment - for we cast out that who are not like us.
Keep on suffering, and your reward is eternal life - you will pass to the next level of this reality, in your glorified body. Or, deny the cross, reject Jesus, and seek out short-term, unfulfilling dopamine - you will receive your reward in this life, instead.
It's interesting that you think you could do a better job than God at creating the universe. Perhaps you know nothing, and your words are worth less than dust? Should God have consulted your infinite intelligence before creating the world? Should it all be destroyed if your friend can't get his shekels and cummies?
