>>21414693That's a lot, but minimum wage is probably x30 of what it is here? Here are some prices. A pound of beef $9.83, a dozen eggs $2.34, a chicken $4.59, a liter of milk $1.33, a kg of gouda cheese $8.84, 500g (slightly over a pound) of past is around $1, a pack of cigarettes $2.30, 150grams of decent chocolate will set you back $1.77-$2.75, a mars bar is $0.80, a kg of apples is around $0.62, a pound of coffee $6.41, 2 pounds of sugar $0.87, a kg of potatoes is $0.55, bread is around $0.80 per pound. So yeah the essentials are "cheap", but if you're earning minimum wage idk if you can allow yourself to buy more than the essentials.
