Quoted By:
You struggle to stand up to the merest hardships of life and shatter in a thousand pieces like a vase dropped to the floor, you are unable to rein in your primal urges and suffer because reality doesn't bend your way. You pine and lament your sad fate when misfortune hits you, hoping that one day the Lord you desperately cling to in times of despair will end your suffering and deliver your soul to the land of eternal bliss after your death. In the meantime, when you're alive you're a slave to your attachments and you don't know any way out of your pain, but you fail to realize that bliss and peace can be experienced in this very life by severing the fetters of attachment that bind you to this state of torment.
I leave for a couple of days and you become prey to your obsessive desires, while my mind is not swayed in the slightest even under the hardest blows of the greatest adversities.
Is clinging to an inferior doctrine which is unable to free you from your anguish worth it? Is Jesus helping you at all?
