Enki mated with two earthly women.
One gave birth to a boy, the other gave birth to a girl. Their direct descendants have since gone into hiding, and the geneology has been usurped by imposters.
Adapa was diferent than other humans.
At first, Enki claimed the baby was found in the fields, but he was so remarkable that he was sent to Niburu to meet the king Anu, along with a message telling the truth. Enlil was angry at Enki for this.
Before Enki sent Adapa to Niburu, he instructed him not to eat the food their (told him it would kill him) but the truth was it would activate his Anu biology and make him Godlike. I think Enki intentionally wanted Man to grow up and become distinct from the Anu.
