In the pre-Christian era, only handsome and wealthy men that composed 5-6% of the male population reproduced and had harems of women, leaving most men as involuntary celibates (incels). When Christendom arrived, it enforced monogamy, Christ give a woman to every man and the world thrived as things were more even for everyone.
However, the sexual revolution removed Christian values from society, leading to a return to the monopolization of women by a few men. Thus, we have reverted to a state similar to the stone age, where "Chad" gets everything.
Incels are not a new phenomenon. 8,000 years ago, only 1 man reproduced for every 18 women. And that unchained many wars and caused civil unrest.
