Is it escapism if I would rather explore the world and meet new people than be tied to a normie lifestyle and live an average life, or would you classify that under "Escapism" too?
If you are doing what you enjoy and have no problems which you are directly avoiding then that is called having hobbies, or interests.
I too love Dreaming. I have seen and experienced many things in Dreaming which are so far beyond reality, even some worlds which were much more complex than this one.
Seek what you desire and enjoy yourself as long as you are not hurting anyone and will have no regrets doing so afterwards.
