It ain't a fashion show on k/. You invest in a platform and stick with it. Time changes the best platform to pick, but you don't go joining the next thing just because it is cooler. When you have 100 mags, multiple rifles of the same model and parts and 25k rounds to feed each rifle ... then you don't throw that away unless you can afford to duplicate it in the new wonder cartridge. If you don't have that to begin with, you should be working on that first instead of buying more toys. The size round you have means jack shit if you can't do your job.
