you just lay down one hand on your chest between your pecs the other on your belly like right on the bellybutton, palms down, and you breathe in as deeply as you can, not too fast but not too slow, making sure only the hand on your belly rises as you fill your diaphragm, then exhale as deeply as you can (this is actually more important than the inhale since you want to get rid of it all to make room for fresh air) slowly lowering your stomach
