you don't see us posting recommendations and talking about music very often because there's less than 10 posters in the general and most of us have already given basically every artist in the genre a try so unless we want to go digging up truly obscure artists or have constant retrospectives on songs released 5+ years ago then there's no point. when new music comes out we always talk about it.
the one person actually linking a song didn't get any replies because he keeps popping in to make one or two posts without any substance then not replying anymore, so there's no reason for anyone to talk to him.
you could make the same argument about us "fangirling" for the idols. there really isn't that much discussion about them in the thread either despite most artists posting pictures, uploading vlogs, going on variety shows, etc. for us to talk about. by percentage of "new content" discussed we cover music way more than the artists themselves
i could also tell you that i listen to plenty of kpop groups that i literally could not recognize a single member of gun to my head, but that's something you'd just have to take my word for.
