>>4339270Flagstaff is pretty comfy, I've been through there a lot. It's a university town, like 1/4th of the population are students at NAU there. Not all high-elevation areas are nice though. This circled spot on the map here, is almost completely above 1200m above sea level, with an average of 1700m elevation, and it's almost completely desert. I've been to all four corners of AZ and almost everywhere in between so I am very familiar with the comfy spots. I've also been to Mexico many times as well, and it can be nice, there's just a lot of crime, like quite a bit in many cities both rural and big.
