Those red beans look very similar to ou black beans, but there is a catch with br beans
For exemple: Pork and Pig are totally different things, one means the pig's meat and other the animal.
Both words have the same translation in br (Porco)
Likewise, beans are one single word in english, but we have two translations: what you are cooking is called "feijão" and is one of the base of our meals
The other meaning for bean is the class of seeds like those beans, lentils, fabas, onions and such. We don't have a word that direclty represents that meaning, we can say those are all leguminous plants but a direct translation does not exist. When talking about lentils and onions we use the name of those plants
