I'm American and I've never paid any bills from the hospital in 20 years lmao, they treat me anyway. The billing people are all over me, but they can't do shit. I supposedly owe a 6 digit amount, but nobody expects me to actually pay. I've had a bunch of surgeries and they're required to treat me even if I can't pay. These people who go broke forgot they can just not pay. No insulin? Walk into the hospital and get it.
