imo, thinking about national politics is a waste of time. you can't change anything, and it is mostly administrative work, at the end of the day. it's stressful and not worth getting worked up over
what matters more is local politics. you have the potential to change your city, neighborhood, etc. you can also build, develop land, create businesses, etc.
