>>13957084The only other thing I can remember was back in middle-school in the 7th grade, had some familly drama going on and I was pretty depressed. Before the summer vacation my math teacher got me out alone and asked me for my plans for the summer. I told her I would be mostly playing on PC, she got kinda intrigued and asked to visit her to prepare for "math olympiad". She told me I was very smart and it would be a shame to waste my talent. I didn't do anything tho, I wasn't that passionate about the math olympiad. I don't know if she had anything to do with gifted programs tho. My home situation was known between some teachers, and they would try sometimes to help me out. Like in the 5th and 6th grade i was always active and responding in my math class, doing exercises ahead of my peers. In the 7th grade i turned like a zombie and was pretty sad, and she remarked that. So I can't really tell if she had anything to do with anything special, or wanted to help me out get better. She was a based teacher with vocation, she helped me realise other humane stuff (for a math teacher kek), so I don't really know.
