I wouldn't worry to much about it because territorial rights supersede property rights. Going to war with China directly would put ownership at risk just like how all that wealth the west wants to confiscate off Russia.
We should all know by now that counter party risk means someone has leverage over you and why you stack gold and silver as the metals have no master.
