there are two ways to access the dreamlands:
1. ethereally via dreams
2. via the aethyr
you cannot bring scifi tech to the dreamlands via the bridge, the aethyr, the aethyr would destroy it
the dreamlands, which is another planet in real space, is in another galaxy.
thus not a small distance away, not even if you take the aethyr
