If they were consistent they would have translated it as
...deliver us from this present evil eternity/forever (Ga. 1:4).
A better translation would be…
...deliver us from this present evil age (Ga. 1:4).
Think about this there is a present aion, age, and a future aion, age. You cant a present eternity and a future eternity, their are no eternities, you cannot have multiple forevers. You can have a present age, and a future age, or future ages.
Ephesians 1:21 King James Version
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world [aion], but also in that which is to come:
If they were consistent they would have translated it as
...not only in this eternity/forever but also in that which is to come (Ep. 1:21).
A better translation would be…
...not only in this age but also in that which is to come (Ep. 1:21).
Notice this world and aion are not the same thing. The word aion is used net to the word kosmos. KJV often mistranslates aion as world, they could not here since the word kosmos was next to the word aion.
Ephesians 2:2 King James Version
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course [aion] of this world , according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
If they were consistent they would have translated it as
...walked according to the eternity/forever of this world (Ep. 2:2).
A better translation would be…
...walked according to the age of this world (Ep. 2:2).
