What I mean by sexual promiscuity is purely in regards to that, because I'm aware of the downsides of porn and other slippery slopes like degenerate pride parades and child drags.
What I wanna ask is, is there any downsides/harmful results of having having sex with strangers who you don't feel much but physical attraction towards? Does it ALWAYS lead to slippery slopes such as porn addiction and drag kids? Is it objectively bad for society?
I've heard argument such as it makes it harder to form meaningful relationships, or diminishes the value of existing ones, leaves you unfulfilled, shows a lack of sexual control, and makes sex in itself a lot less meaningful, thus making actual relationships more mudane. Well, is there more to it? More reasons why sexual promiscuity is bad? Is there any reason why it would be GOOD?
I'd like to hear from both sides of this argument.
As well, just so this thread isn't too similar to my last one, what are the effects that sex morals, loose or strict, and marriage have on society, culturally and politically?
