Why can't Americans cook? In Sweden and the rest of Europe, when children come home from school they eat a home-cooked meal usually prepared by the mother. All children here are taught basic cooking. In the US, people don't cook at all but instead order take out for every meal. Most Americans apparently can't even cook rice or pasta according to surveys. When they do cook, it's some epic meal time abomination where they just take processed foods which have already been prepared and put them together. What's going on here, and why do Americans seem so indifferent about it, like they are about circumcision? Are (((they))) behind it?
