>>4001547Unless you live in Vermont, I doubt anyone will care. When you install the plugin, it's not like it magically tracks down your location and selects your flag, you choose them yourself.
If you aren't comfortable with giving up your actual region, you can choose to have two flags (country, state) or three (country, state, county). Even then, you can bill yourself as being from a town nearby that you don't actually live in - many of us do that.
Pic related is when I go into Sonoma County, i can choose from several towns with unique flags and seals. I live in Rohnert Park, but I can say that I'm from Santa Rosa or Healdsburg for example.
If you're still uncomfortable I can't stop you, but let me say that your anonymity is preserved in the plugin. Also, collecting extra flags is a fun hobby!
