Talmudic Judaism (Or Rabbinical Talmudism as my fren says here
>>22499816) may be a derivative of Second Temple Judaism, but so is Christianity, yet they aren't the same religion.
So why aren't S.T. Judaism and R.T. Judaism the same? Simple, Rabbinical Judaisms core doctrines are the Mishnah (the Oral law) and the Talmud (Schizo Rambling from rabbis). These doctrines descend from the Pharisees, the same people whom Jesus despised and called the brood of vipers and blind guides. If Modern Judaism descends from the Pharisees and follows doctrines that weren't present at the time of Jesus, then by modern definitions, he is not a religious jew.
As for being a Jew ethnically, that's also not the case. Jew is a mistranslation from the word Judean, a resident of Judea. Judea was a multi-ethnic mutt kingdom ruled by a Canaanite (IIRC). A Judean could refer to an Israelite, an Edomite, a Canaanite, and possibly other ethnic people. Jesus spent the majority of his life north of Judea, in Galilee, with his fellow Israelites. When reading the gospel of John, you'll notice that Jesus's fellow Israelites, like Nathaniel, never refer to him as a Jew/Judean, but an Israelite (See John 1:48), while the Samarian woman calls him a Judean (John 4:9), but this is merely an assumption. Jesus Christ was an Israelite, of the tribe of Judah (Not Judean) who lived in Galilee. The only person who you could've called a Jew in the New Testament is Paul, who would be considered a modern Jew by religion but not race. Modern Jews are Khazarian LARPers and have no ethnic ties to Israel. A study shows that 97% of the residents of Israel have ZERO israelite DNA, and another study shows that a lot of Jews and Arabs have canaanite DNA.
Jesus was white.
