i've got a while to go to max out the ship considering some upgrades are as much as 50 mil. after that the best freighter in the game is ~203 mil, but i might skip out on it for now since i need to grind rep somewhere for it too and it's just a little faster without much more cargo space.
that being said i'll probably be better off starting to get some other ships and gear them up for mining, combat, etc.
