>>1579775I do think it is time that instead of spreading ourselves across the entire board, we must, image macros (posts using Cirno as OP image about other topics) withstanding consolidate our threads into, dare I say it, generals if we do not want to meet the bitter fate of /qa/. There shall be at least two, one for flagposting, and one for general Cirno such as fishe posting, touching, and non-flag OC. The good people of this board looked to us help them create a better tomorrow, and yet it seems that we have plunged it into darkness instead. I know we can do better then that, and we can make /bant/ great again if we were to put our efforts into improving its culture instead of trying to grab the biggest percentage of threads.
We need to start think qualitatively, not quantitatively to channel our efforts into positive culture and content, not by driving out our competitors through mean-spirited banter. Ourselves more then anyone should know that it only encourages them to act bolder. Of course, whatever these Cirno "generals" might be, they will need to have well structured OPs in order to encompass most of the topics that would be realistically expected to transpire. I was thinking links for our presence on pixelcanvas, news such as release of new touhou games and anniverseries of releases, board statistics (posts per second, ETAs for major gets), and links to music, kind of like the comfy thread.
This is not something I consider lightly, but we cannot continue our current state of affairs - they will lead the board into a state that not even /b/ would envy.
