>>16853137Start by learning "French Fries" and "Pizza" on the skiis.
Aim the skiis parallel downhill to speed up, and you can angle your skiis inwards towards each other (turning your toes/ankles in, forming a triangle/pizza slice shape) to slow down. This will work fine at slower speeds and the beginner slopes.
As you start going faster you'll need to learn how to properly carve and weight transfer to slow down. Have fun, skiing is great.
