>>19018840After their incredible WWA World Tag Team Title victory at Judge, Yuri, and Executioner, the Birds of Prey have not yet had time to properly take in the moment, or make plans for the future. When the excitement of their triumph had faded, they'd been hurting and exhausted from Warhorse's valiant defense of the titles, and the next few days had seemed a blur of physicals from the WWA medical team, promotional photo shoots, and buzz about the B1 - a tournament which neither of them had ultimately entered, for the simple reason that the WWA World Tag Team Championships demanded their focus completely. Then had come Halloween, and while their costumes (Robyn as Batman, Andi as Robin) had been a hit, they had been surrounded by potential rivals and the party had not been the sort where they could truly unwind and cut loose.
Tonight, at Club Cyberia, they are finally finding that opportunity.
On the dance floor of the Cyberia, benefiting from the revival and return of DJ Dolph Spin and his unique mastery of music, Andi Kestrel is just as much of a whirlwind of chaotic energy as she is in a WWA ring. Passionate, energetic, and at times cheerfully annoying, she moves with the music with an instinctual rhythm and a club scene dancer's skill honed by hours of experience. One would hardly guess that the weather outdoors has become rather chilly from the sheen of sweat on her twisting, undulating body. As the music comes to a lull, Andi turns to Robyn McDaid, her tag team partner, and shouts out the blindingly obvious, as if the full weight of it has just sunk into her conscious mind.
>"We really did it, Robyn! We're the champions! We're at the top of the WWA!"The unspoken question remains, hanging in the air. Champions need challengers. Who will be the first ones' to challenge the Birds of Prey in their newly-won reign atop the tag team division?
