The context of her showing up at the hospital was that I had been saying I understood his sister Karen's emphasis of his great lamentations at his son's funeral to mean that he had killed his son as a Christmas present of sorts to his wife. Was it him? Hard to say. He ended up moving to a house next to the house on Placita Pardal where someone murdered a small child outside my window in the middle of the night in the 1980s. The houses on that cul de sac have access to some sort of underground lair too.
