Why? because I plan on playing the same character from morrowind to skyrim
elder scrolls is a series that requires imagination.
Imagine that:
•the land of skyrim is much more expansive
•the cities and castles are much larger
•the land of skyrim is significantly more populated than it artificially is inside skyrim, it isnt very populated in the actual game due to hardware limitations ofcourse
facts based in reality that back up my imagination:
•medieval era was populated in the millions
•that would require a lot of towns and castles of various size
