>>11304562you speak of true happiness but don't provide a standard to judge what is true happiness
>if what makes you happy is taken away and you become sad you weren't "really" happyoh come on dude I expected more from you
this is christian tactics 101 come on
dude you do realise that our brains aren't wired that once you strip away everything you have and end up bare naked cold hungry thirsty in ugly outside weather that your baseline will be happy
yoz can't get unconditioned happiness
you know which people are unconditionally happy? psychos, madmen, the crazies
not even kids are baseline happy, sure they have more dopamine and serotonin to work with but they still need a trigger to release those
would you really try to defend the idea that kids aren't knherently happy? kids, fucking kids, the same kids that burst into laughter when you give them a funny rock, the same kids that laugh at this and that just because it looks or sounds funny
but those same kids will in fact enter depressionbif you take away everything that makes them smile
that was a pretty dick move from you, I don't think I can forgive you for using this evasive tactic, I'll think about it... I'm not mad just dissapointed
>people weren't meantpeople weren't meant for anything FULLSTOP.
people weren't created by some almighty skydaddy that had a plan in place, they are a result of semi random (there was some selection) breeding of animals which tend to stick together for survival
a lot of animals don't stick together
mutants get born every day that go out of the norm on sticking together or going alone, those are all volatile factors that can't be all stuffed under one single umbrella of "meaning"
and those mutants pop out largely at random so theres no clue which kid is a loner and which is a groupie, but by in large people tend to be social creatures
