So basically we all think modern society is just about materialism and consumerism but it’s more insidious than that. Now it’s just about stunting on others and clout-chasing. People don’t buy Apple products or Nike shoes because they’re the best devices or sneakers. They’re not. They buy this junk because it shows they’re cool, hip and sexy. This is what modern life is now.
Also, don’t use a phone. I use an iPad to shitpost on here but I use a flip phone that I keep at home. Phones are made to seem useful but in reality they’re just there to addict you.
