Then you'll hear people say that coincidence does necessitate causality, but it doesn't mean it doesn't either.
Then there is the fact that some people experience a ton of coincidences, while others very few. They say those aware, and those looking for it will find more, but again that doesn't mean that it's not still happening independently. Whether looking or not, for some people, the amount or frequency eventually gets so great as to be considered uncanny or mathematically improbable, such to suggest something more is taking place.
People have also collaborated that it varies with time of year or certain events. I am also one of those people with a truly uncanny amount of coincidence throughout my life, and it has left me wondering about the unknown natures of existence on more than one occasion.
