I will preface this by saying that I only skimmed through this thread
mGwqhwVh seems confused with his own beliefs, attempting to reduce everything that's given Humanity an identity down to nothing but "social constructs". And in this reduction where nothing has any "scientific" or "objective" basis in reality, because it relies on the subjective Human perception, he believes it justifies the existence of transgenders. If nothing is real then anything can be real?...
Consider this: while it's true that many of Humanity's ideas that define society, such as those of manhood, womanhood, adulthood, childhood, money, and right and wrong, are social constructs, that doesn't inherently justify any construct created. Minds as you know them are not born by birth but by nature and nurture. Social constructs exist to nurture Man with an identity so that he is more than an animal living by the will of his instincts. The "rational and thinking man" is a social construct itself. But it is powerful one because it guides Man towards a constructive mindset. It is thanks to such constructs that a stable foundation for what a "Human" is was able to form and give rise to civilizations, and it has taken the wisdom of centuries for this sensible baseline - what we call "normal" - to form. Imperfect, but functional
It's only natural that you would be met with great resistance when you try to change the identity of a "Human" - to alter the baseline that allows stability. Indeed, especially when the construct of "transgender" is so deeply intertwined with mental illness and instability. There is a danger in trying to normalize a psychological abnormality to comfort the few afflicted because that action, in itself, is a statement to what is sane and right for a Human to do. I must stress that there is an equal danger in playing God with these constructs to separate Man from the biological reality of life, for Man is still an animal. You can fool a Man into thinking anything, but to what end?
