His vision was weary, for his helmet was heavy, his shield was burdensome, so he took it off, he grasped the helmet, threw it to the ground, and chucked aside his shield. In the distance he saw him, Mehmet, the Conqueror.
He threw his spear, and pierced his lip, he looked him dead in the eyes, the Ottomans were frightened, the Kebab were going to fight to the death.
A great thunder let out from the heavens, a bad omen for Mehmet. He hesitated, his generals demanded orders as the Kebab cavalry advanced on them, he still stood, in shock, clasping his bloody lip.
"Sound the call to retreat," he said. "Sir, are you mad?!" Mehmet looked at him, "Allah has not chosen this day for us, we must retreat and attack again."
So the Ottomans retreated, and a great slaughtering began, as they retreated back up the mountain pass the Kebab followed, with horses, and arrows, they decimated the enemy forces.
Once word arrived to the other Muslim nations of this terrible Omen, they deemed Allah had seen fit to destroy the Ottomans, and so, a great jihad began.
