It's hard to say, I was like 12/13 years old at the time. It's most likely nostalgia and regrets talking but at the time the world felt like a better and things were only gonna get better.
Then Dubya happened, then 9/11, then the 08 crash, then Occupy Wall St was co oped by "Woke Culture" and we have been dealing with it since. Almost like the "woke agenda" is there exclusively to keep the people fighting amongst themselves instead of demanding the people who crashed the worlds economy and sucking the nation dry be held accountable.
Everything after this point you should be aware of unless you are a literal underageb&. Shit like GG and the explosion of victim capitalism in it's wake.
