>>3744464What I really enjoy the most about 20th century is the study of the two world wars, what led to them, what happened at that time, and what they led to. From the politics that led to it to the technology developed during that time to the effects they have today, it is full of a wealth of knowledge, and is still close enough that it has a real impact on us. Too bad most people don't look too much into it because they are already bombarded with info on it.
I remember having to study the period before the first world war starting from 1890, and seeing all the little reasons why empires allied themselves, how divides happened, and it made it much more interesting, like a live story. It wasn't about the boring dates and isolated events, but rather about how everything acted in coordination to lead to the first world war.
But anyway, enough rambling about that. I'm generally too excited about this subject and could spend all day talking about it, which I have done in the past, albeit online for everyone's sake.
