It’s a pretty interesting show because it focus on not only England at the time but many of the Doreen groups of the time when they lived in more tribal societies like the Scottish, Germanic tribes, and the Vikings/Scandinavians.
There were many different Germanic tribes in Europe and they weren’t all the same. Uhtred is considered “Anglo Saxon” I use to think it was a particular race/tribe but I wonder if it’s just what they called many of the Germans who went to live in the England.
