IFFF the nest becomes too big one day, or you just become too scared one day to let them stay, absolutely do not kill them.
Just put a large bag around the light, tie rope around bag and unscrew the entire light from the wall. Take the bag with the light to somewhere remote and cut a big hole in the bag or remove the rope and quickly run away. Return a few days or a week later and all of the wasps should have migrated out of the bag to a new spot and you can retrieve your light.
