The reason why JW have no history of existence from the end of the 1st Century down to the end of the 1800's is because it was prophesied that a Great Apostasy would happen that would last for centuries.
The Apostles warned in these scriptures about this foretold Apostasy that would be allowed to happen.
>Acts 20:29, 30; 1 Timothy 4:1-3; 2 Timothy 2:16-18; 2 Peter 2:1-3; 1 John 2:18, 19.According to Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43; if your church existed before the CONCLUSION OF SYSTEM OF THINGS then you cannot be the true church. The true church would not rise until the LAST DAYS. This is also supported in Matt 24:14 where "the truth of this Kingdom will be spread throughout the earth and then the end would come."
Jesus foretold in Matthew 13 about the Great Apostasy in his illustrations of the "Wheat among the Weeds," "The Leaven," "The Dragnet of Fish." Basically, God and Jesus would allow corrupted teachings, false teachers and sects to grow among the true Christians. The weeds/unsuitable fish are the sects and apostates. The leaven is the false teachings that would spread and rise. Then when the "conclusion of the system of things" comes Jesus and the Angels would come for the "harvest" and separating of the bad fish. So God ALLOWED IT to happen but only until the conclusion of the system of things.
JW today are the result of that separation of wheat from weeds, good fish from bad fish, and sheep from goats.
