>>7633530In 1993 as a teen I decided I was going into graphic design and became self-taught at bitmapping pixel art. But I had no capability to learn programming at all, and actually I didnt so much want to draw the graphics as actually design the games.
I managed to form some lightweight connections in the industry because of my pixel art portfolio, but it never went anywhere.
When college time came - there was no such thing as a digital art degree, just a traditional one and I didnt think it would have any value so I didnt pursue it.
Turned down all other opportunities, had nothing to fall back on.
Current year I have no degree, no certifications, and have been without a job so long I dont even have any relevant entries to put on a job application.
Not even walmart will hire me.
