there's a gazoo racing version in the works for corolla.
its taking the new hatchback and giving it the gazoo racing treatment. it'll use the turbocharged 1.6L 3 cylinder engine of the yaris and slap it into the corolla. since america isnt getting the AWD yaris, this is the next best thing. 260 horses on a corolla. oh boy. i might be getting a new car in 2022 depending on the performance when this car actually showcases. also, im hoping they trim that curb weight of 3000 lbs down to 2800 or something. crossing my fingers for 2600 lbs curb weight but thats 400 pounds weight shave, that's almost impossible.
it would be 17 years until corolla name got exciting again, i got the 2005 xrs and now im going to get the GR, i think. who knows. my brother is wondering if im gettting it.
