>Let's talk yummy, let's talk CHOCOLATE.
>How is it made? I'm sure you all know chocolate is made out of cocoa beans, but did you know to make chocolate those beans need to be fermented? That's right! Cocoa beans have a yeast population and this allows them to ferment, producing the taste we all love today! Once fermented, they will be left to dry. This helps remove the bitterness of the cocoa. The dry fermented beans are then roasted to kill off potentially harmful bacteria resulted from fermentation. You're now left with what's essentially the final produce, to make chocolate you will need to crack open the roasted beans, get rid of husks through winnowing, grind them, temper them and only then you can mold them! Quite the process isn't it?
>On a side note, white chocolate actually isn't chocolate! It's made out of cocoa butter, which is cocoa fat. Ew! No wonder it's several times unhealthier than regular chocolate!
>Dark chocolate on the other hand, a product pure in cocoa, is by far the healthiest chocolate and is even recommended to eat!
