If you want to draw completely. As in you stop halfway and don't finish it when you plan to colour it.
You should keep doing it despite it becoming ass. Since if you just draw without colouring you will only improve at drawing and never get better at drawing full images. Uh or whatever you call it. I have that same issue with music so I'm forcing myself to make full songs despite it being uncomfortable and shit.
