>>13154225>Infact Jews are darker.sephardi jews probably are, ashkenazi jews are lighter than the maltese / sicilians. it's called selection, ashkenazi and sephardi from europe are nearly identical in genetics with the difference ashkenazi have a small slav-like admixture, this small but relevant admixture plus endogamy likely helped to increase the numbers of light eyes and hair among them in comparison to the sephardi and maltese / sicilians (btw maltese and sicilians may be darker, but genetically they are more northern shifted than the ashkenazi)
