>>10558063The better question is, why did medieval knights even wear a full suit of armor? Was it really superior to a lighter set with mobility and a ranged weapon? I suppose in close combat a fully armored knight with a VERY strong man inside of it could be unbeatable if he were to swing his sword hard enough before you could find a gap in the armor in which to thrust your sword. Nothing could stand up to a full charge from armored knights except a muddy field
