>>5911525Hello anon! I'm no expert on the Catholic church, but I will say - the two things you list are basically why I became Orthodox. At my Church, we have a good percentage of Catholic converts, and I think there is likely quite a bit of information out there on Orthodoxy from a formerly Catholic perspective. Perhaps you might see what you could find? Or simply show up - there are very few "Cradle Orthodox" in the US, most of us are converts, and the Catholic church might be the single biggest church people come from - if not, its likely tied against the Methodists or one of the other big mainline denominations. If you were to talk to an Orthodox priest - I bet he would have something he could say to help you - or at the very least know where to point you.
