The Wise Lord made you Inherently Good.
Your drives and desires can be used in the service of Goodness, Truth and Wisdom.
Just don't be degenerate about it.
See, according to Zarathustra, and even the Magi before him, God, whom they call Ahura Mazda, literally "Wise Lord" is all Truth and Goodness - NO evil comes from Him.
All that he created is *inherently* Good.
This is the dualism of Zoroaster that people don't understand:
That God is All Goodness and Truth, that which opposes God must be antithetical to him :: evil and unTruth: the lie, Embodied as the Deceiver.
The Wise Lord wants us to be Happy, Wise, Prosperous, Fulfilled. It is the lie (druj) that endeavors for you to forget these truths.
